ACSSZ UPCOMING OUTINGS, FUNCTIONS & EVENTS FOR 2016

Members receive venues and further details of all Outings, Functions and Events, by email, in their monthly newsletter. Should non-members be interested in attending any of the exciting Outings, Functions and Events, they should contact aloesocietyzim@gmail.com to become a member and receive all the great benefits from ACSSZ.
The "Usual ACSSZ Routine": Days start at 10h00 with Coffee/Tea. Please bring a plate of treats to share. Bring your chair/s and hat/s and in rainy weather, perhaps umbrellas as well! Remember to bring a clearly labelled plant/plants, or other contribution for The Raffle and Silent Auction. Bring some cash to buy 50c raffle tickets to raise funds for the Society, and stand the chance to go home with a new Aloe, Cactus, Succulent, Palm, Cycad or other treasure! Auctions are often part of the routine, so keep an eye out for some of the treasures that can be bid on at these meetings.

Going out of town on Enterprise Road, turn right at the Chisipite roundabout. Continue straight and bear left on Hindhead Road. Continue around a second roundabout and take your first turning RIGHT into St Aubin's Walk (towards Chisipite Junior School). No 4 is on your right.

Going out of town on Alpes Road, continue straight over the Harare Drive traffic lights towards Pomona Quarry. Drive past the Harare refuse dump and the golf course. 500m beyond Emerald Seedlings, turn RIGHT at the sign "Dodington" (there is an additional sign "Shamwari Succulents")

To Jean and Norman Kennard to see the “other” around an acre, FIRST prize winner in the NAGC garden comp. from last year.
Jean and Norman have a rose garden primarily and Jeans daughter owns “Simply Seedlings” a family who adores gardening !
They have had water issues but its breath taking !

Glenara Estate, to get there take the Mazowe Rd go past the milatary barracks proceed through tollgate (have money for toll for there and back ) proceed then turn left at Glenara Estate. As you turn in take the right hand dirt road ( NOT THROUGH THE BOOM) follow that dirt road until it splits then take the left lane to the house which is then only about 200 meters.

Follow The Chase towards Gateway Junior School (go over a few tar humps) Look for Berkshire Rd on your left, then go about half way down Berkshire Rd and the Butterworth’s will be on your right.
